Nteligen is a technology company that works with Government and Commercial Clients on their challenging problems related to information sharing. We do everything from creating Government Policies, Secure information sharing and Data Risk Mitigation, Thought Leadership, Cyber Strategies, and Resilient Software Engineering. 

This position will utilize a mix of skills that will require the systems engineer to understand an IT system's entire context and the associated IT risks and design solutions to the problems found. The systems engineer will help define, design, and develop solutions that enable DCGS data to be passed to processing systems. The successful candidate is helping design a solution for the current legacy system. This position requires coding experience, but the day-to-day will be systems engineering focused. The ideal candidate will be knowledgeable in Linux system security and have excellent writing skills.

Hard Requirements

• BS degree in engineering or scientific discipline (4 years of professional experience may be substituted for a BS degree) and 10+ years of professional experience
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in programs within the DOD
• Knowledge of DOD enterprise networks
• 4 years of experience working with enterprise Linux or similar operating systems
• Excellent writing skills
• Expertise in problem-solving, including extensive experience working directly with customers to refine their needs into an approved solution
• Experience developing secure systems

• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Must be able to meet DOD 8570
• Able to obtain a secret security clearance

Preferred Requirements (but not required):

• Experience in Cross Domain Solutions
• Familiar with Ansible or similar tools
• Experience with DCGS
